My method

Recently I started to look for some new and particular ways to improve my writing English. The thing I'm doing currently is this; I am reading a book written in English called “The Diary of Anne Frank” and underline every word I don’t know. Then, after finding their significance, I use these unfamiliar words in my diary. In addition, I'm reading some English theories and trying to combine these two methods in this blog. I know it sounds a bit complex, but I try to find the enjoyable side. For example, I love to read, actually, I already read Anne Frank's Diary but in Spanish, so this gives me the opportunity to have a new look at the story.

Meanwhile, I'm keeping occupied on the internet searching for some theories like:

  • Cleft sentences,
  • Non–finite clauses
  • Inversion of emphasis
  • Participle clauses
  • Mixed conditionals
  • Inverted conditionals
  • Relative clauses
  • Passive voice
  • Hedging
  • Impersonal language

and the list goes on and on…

I hope these ideas can help you if you are trying to improve your writing English too, and of course, If you have other ideas, please share them.

Ok, the reason why I've done this introduction is that today was an ordinary day. Nothing particularly happened; woke up, worked out, and some TV … in the afternoon I took my mom for a cup of coffee. Oh yes, at night I met my friends. The place where we got together was Chilli’s but, to be honest, the food was terrible. The reason why we’ve gotten together was to say goodbye to one of my friends who is going to live abroad. I really hope she does well.

And, after two years I took the train again. The thing that I like the most is that the train is very fast, it only took me 5 minutes in comparison to when I use my car, this same trip can take me at least 30 minutes!

Well, it is all for today.
